Recently, the "Cross-Strait Investment and Exchange Seminar" co-hosted by the University of International Business and Economics and the Taiwan Research Institute of Economic Research was held in Taipei's Grand Hotel. The representatives of the Chinese textile industry attended the meeting. Xu Kunyuan, vice president of China Textile Industry Association, made the theme of the textile industry Speaking. Prior to this, the delegation from the mainland textile industry and the Taiwan Institute of Textile Industry held the "Cross-Strait Textile Industry Investment and Exchange Conference," and both sides conducted in-depth discussions on the status quo of cross-Strait industrial development, cooperation and future cooperation proposals. More than 80 colleagues in the textile industry across the Taiwan Strait conducted a lively discussion and exchange. After the meeting, the two sides reached the conclusion of the "Cross-Strait Conference on Investment and Exchange in the Textile Industry" and decided to strengthen cooperation in industrial technology and product development. The main contents include: 1. China National Textile and Apparel Council and the Institute of Textile Industry will jointly promote the textile industry Cooperation in science and technology and joint development of products. In particular, we have cooperated with functional (functional) textiles, industrial textiles, environmentally friendly products, energy saving and emission reduction, testing and verification, and personnel training. We also set up a platform for industrial information communication and exchange. 2. To strengthen cross-Strait textile industry's international marketing cooperation and open up international markets through well-known brands as well as to enhance the international competitiveness of cross-Strait and Chinese brands while enhancing mutual participation in exhibitions and exchange of design and other activities. 3. We will actively promote the investment cooperation and consultation mechanism among the two sides of the textile industry. In particular, we will achieve win-win development in the integration of industrial value chains, the development of common markets and access roads.
